If your original ECU has failed or developed an internal fault, Game Gear Garage can transfer the required data to a suitable replacement, provided the original data can be read. A successful clone retains the vehicle-specific information needed for installation and can avoid additional immobiliser programming in many cases.

If you are unsure, contact us before ordering with clear photographs of the labels on both ECUs. The donor ECU must be compatible and in good working condition.

How to book and send your ECUs

1. Purchase this service through our website.
2. Receive your posting instructions and postal address after purchase.
3. Pack both ECUs securely. Label them “Original” and “Donor”, and include your order number, full name, contact details, return address and a brief description of the fault.
4. Post your parcel using a tracked service and keep your proof of postage.
5. We read and transfer the data and check the programmed replacement.
6. Both ECUs are returned securely packaged.

Important service information

• This purchase is for cloning and data transfer on ECUs you supply, not the sale of a replacement ECU.
• The original ECU must be readable for a complete clone. A completely dead unit or damaged memory may require additional recovery work; please contact us before ordering in these circumstances.
• Cloning does not repair existing faults in the donor ECU or unrelated faults elsewhere in the vehicle.
• Plug-and-play installation depends on compatibility, readable original data and the condition of the ECU and vehicle; it cannot be guaranteed in every case.
